Tragic death of a movie star!
Sorry if I don't sound very compassionate. Sure the death of anyone could be tragic to someone somewhere but I can't believe all of the news about Heath Ledger being found dead. Usually 28 year olds do not just die! Maybe he did, and that would be sad.
But come on! All the news channels, tragic, tragic tragic!!! What about all the people who die in Iraq and Afganistan, etc... every day. Where are all the tragic reports? This actor was not even an American, not born here anyway, and we can't hear anything about our brave Americans who die serving our great country. When we do hear about it, it is more like we are hearing it to make the people mad at the war and the government, not to actually talk about how tragic it is. What about all the innocent people who die in your town, city or this country by acts of crime, drunk drivers, etc... That is tragic! What about all the kids who are abused everyday? That is tragic!
So as you are watching the nightly news and you hear about this tragic death, please remember all the ones you are not hearing about, just because those people were not famous actors.
