The number of homes sold for September of '08 compared to September of '07 were lower but the median sale price was about the same.

Total dollar amount sold in Sept. of 2007 - $80,305,852
Total dollar amount sold in Sept. of 2008 - $54,062,011
Median sale price for Sept. of 2007 - $165,000
Median sale price for Sept. of 2008 - $164,450
Median days on the market for Sept. 2007 - 33
Median days on the market for Sept. 2008 - 55
So it shows what most people already see. Less homes are selling but they are not losing value as much as other areas of the country. There are more listings to chose from, bringing prices down and making the median DOM go up.
